A MANGO Crush
Having been a student for almost 4 years now, it's no surprise that some of the things in my closet have been there for.. well, 4 years. Between the span of 18 and 21, your tastes REALLY change, and you no longer wear clothes just to class, or just to party - there comes the inbetweens, like going to a nice bar, a more casual party, or things like interviews or work do's. Because of this, I've felt my wardrobe REALLY lacking in many things..
MANGO has been my biggest eye catcher since late last year, but I've yet to buy anything from them! Their things are always so classy yet down-to-earth and completely up my street - and I genuinely cannot wait til I can have a splurge if/when I get a job! Does anyone have experience with MANGO items? Anyway, here are a few things that I've been lemming these past few days.. the * are the ones that are currently in my basket!
Bowling Handbag* £42.99/Quilted Shopper Handbag* £29.99/Zip Closure Messenger Handbag £9.99
Zip Pocket Jeans £22.99/Button Down Jumpsuit* £29.99/Decorative Ruffles Blouson* £24.99
Classic Style Sunglasses* £14.99/Roll Up Shorts £17.99/Denim Shorts £24.99
What are some of your favourite stores? :) Does anyone have any opinions about MANGO?

LOVE the quilted shopper! Perfect summertime shade.
ReplyDeleteI knowwwww, and it's on sale! Hard to resist!
DeleteI've never bought anything from mango but I love their stuff too! I just discovered a new store, brandy melville that made me want to do a post just like this =)
ReplyDeleteOoo I haven't heard of that, wonder if it's available in the UK! Gonna check it out, I always love your OOTD posts :)
DeleteI've been wearing Mango since I was a teenager. As I grow older, I still like them because they have stuffs for different age groups. However, Mango quality isn't as great as it used to. Nowadays I will not pay a full retail price unless I really like that particular pieces. Thank goodness for a Mango outlet - I buy most of my stuffs there now ;)
ReplyDeleteAww that's a shame! I find that a lot of stores have gone down in quality but raise prices, and had a feeling MANGO may be one of them! I need to check out outlet now ;)
DeleteI love mango clothing because its smart and sophisticated :) However, there has been other shops which grabs my attention this season, especially zara! I must say that the quilted shopper bag is lovely :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing~

DeleteI am OBSESSED WITH MANGO!!!
ReplyDeleteME TOO!!!! (and I haven't even bought anything)
DeleteI went to Mango the other day and found some gorgeous small quilted handbags, very "chanel" but they were so expensive! I love Mango but I feel like it's gotten more expensive over the past 5 or 6 years :( xxxx
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of brands do that which is such a shame! I'm hesitant to order online because I'm afraid I wont think the quality will match the price!
Deletethe previous month i bought pumps from mango ,the quality is great.i love them!

Ah so glad to hear about the quality! :) That makes me less worried about some of the prices, thank you!
DeleteI've only bought basics from Mango in the past, and they've lasted really well with washing etc. so I think they are generally good quality as a brand. Love that first bowling bag - it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAh that's good to know! I saw it in person today, and it was a bit mahoosive so I may be skipping!
DeleteOh wow i love the quilted coral bag.
ReplyDeleteI have a new big Mango store in a town close to me, and i walked past it swooning at the window display, the clothes look right up my street! im nearly 25, and the clothes in there look like they fit me age bracket if that makes sense lol - i'll def go have a proper look next time im near it! xx

Yes that totally makes sense! :)
DeleteGood point about how your clothing needs change drastically in those short four years :)
ReplyDeleteIt's weird isn't it?! I bet it's more different betwen 18 and 21 than say, 30 and 34 which is also quite weird!
DeleteI love that orange purse
ReplyDeleteFollowing, and looking forward to future posts! By the way I'm hosting a contest so definitely check it out, one more day to enter!!! http://tinyurl.com/lilithscontest

DeleteLOVE your choices! I really want to go shopping now!
ReplyDeleteI've always spent hours wandering round Mango planning out my ideal wardrobe but have never been able to justify buying anything, literally haven't had the budget. Just started my first job and I'm so excited to start re-vamping my wardrobe and filling all the gaps that have been waiting to be filled for ages. Mango and Zara here I come...

Oh wow congratulations on your job, very jealous of your upcoming spree ;)
